All local artists are invited to display their art creations at the Myrtle Creek Library. Whether you have handmade crafts, paintings, prints, drawings or something else, we’d love to feature your talents.
You are welcome to sell your piece if you’d like, with no consignment fees!
Just bring your piece to the library and fill out an Artist Form at the circulation desk.
First D&D Club meeting: Sept 16, 3:00-5:00pm at the Myrtle Creek Library.

The Friends of Myrtle Creek Library is partnering with FEATT of South Douglas County to offer a sensory hour the first Saturday of every month 11AM-12PM. Please ask staff for any accommodations to help your library experience be more pleasant.
Join us at the library on Wednesday 8/30 at 5-6pm for our Book Club meeting.
We will discuss “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
Learn to preserve your garden bounty with 3 classes:
3-4pm Blackberry Freezer Jam
(4-5pm intermission)
5-6pm Fermentation Fun
6-8pm Salsa Spaghetti Sauce
Take home a full jar and recipe from each class along with the knowledge you need to preserve all your summer harvest!
Materials donation $10 per person, maximum of 20 participants. Sign up at the library or Redbarn Garden Supply. To donate jars or food, contact Serena at 541.680.1700.
NOTE: This class is at the Community Center on 2nd Ave.
We at Friends of Myrtle Creek Library are promoting this wonderful teen activity program for Douglas County youth, ages 14 to 18. There are a dozen fun field trips planned, including the Hellgate Jet Boats! Trips are filling up quickly, so register soon!

Join us every Wednesday at noon for fun books and cool crafts with Australia themes.
Events include a field trip to Wildlife Safari (aka “Giraffic Park”)!
